French language:
Yesterday in gr. 6 social studies, students finished ch 2, Canadian culture. In geography, gr 7 students completed a case study on Kosova to apply the 5 themes of geography. Then we attended the Heroes for Hope Cancer fundraiser kickoff assembly.

This morning in visual arts, students finished the First Nations reproductions and learned about surrealist painter, Salvador Dali.

Math:
We continued to work on some hands-on math challenges where the students had to design and construct rectangular prisms with specified surface areas. They then took some time to finish up some of the textbook work from Wednesday.

The students attended a dance for grades 6, 7, and 8 during the last block of the day.
