Yesterday I left students with their First Nations reproductions to finish. I had a quick glance this morning and they look fantastic:)
Today:
I am at the Bluewater Regional Senior Science Fair at the Bayshore in Owen Sound with grade 7&8 students. This is a big event with students ranging from grade 7-12 and other boards participating. There are 55 judges here. I have no idea how things are going because there are no teachers allowed!
This morning we attended a University of Guelph Ontario Agriculture College presentation about how cows eat and sensory confusion on the Chi cheemaun. It was really interesting.
Gr6's had Mr. Luptak for the morning. Using iPads, they were to research Canada's trade with the European Union, different governing trade organizations, and child labour. They were also to read chapter 7 of Jean Baptiste and respond to questions. Ambitious morning! No worries if all was not completed.
Tonight:
Bonne chance to Mia Tullio and Geneva Hindle. They are competing tonight at the French Public Speaking competition at the board office in Chesley.

Math:
With the grade 7's away, the grade 6's spent the afternoon practising and reviewing for the mathematics component of the upcoming EQAO test. I will start sending further review packages home as the test date draws nearer.
Language:
The students continued to work on their persuasive essays in the computer lab.
