Tuesday, Dec. 8:
Students had a supply teacher. After gym where they practiced their dance, they had an hour to work on their history presentations (see success criteria under links). Since the gr7's left for the West Hill tour, the gr6's started their new science unit, air and flight.

Wednesday, Dec. 9:
I was away with the gr7's in Toronto. Gr6's spent the morning with Mr. Harding's class. Since Mr. E. was away, students had a supply teacher.

Today:
The gr7's and gr8's participated in the upper Canada debate, Reformistes vs the Pacte de Famille (Conservatives). The gr6's video taped the production and acted as soldiers to remove people from the court. It was very well done. Then we went off to practice our dance. It is looking so good!

In science we learned about invasive species, purple loosestrife, and how the government is working on natural and inexpensive ways to treat these threats to our biodiversity.
