French language:

Students took turns asking questions and role playing Jeanne d'Arc, King Charles VII, and the high Priest. It was great. I will return the rubrics as soon as I have finished marking them. Then we went to the gym to practice our dance.

Gr7's are going to West Hill tomorrow with Mr. Balen. Please make sure they have a signed permission form.

English Language:

We read the second last chapter of The Giver. Then the students worked on a bit of grammar and proof-reading skills. Some students have had sentence fragments, comma splices, and run-on sentences in their writing. We are reviewing the grammatical rules and targeting these faults.

Homework: Students are to complete the "Basic Editing and Proofreading" worksheet for Friday. 

Math:

We are moving into decimals now. The grade 6's worked on reading, representing, and converting decimals, fractions, and mixed numbers. The grade 7's are learning how to multiply decimals. The students can expect some homework practice later this week.
