French language:

This morning students worked on an art project, decorated our door (another contest), and practiced our dance for the Dance Extravaganza. We will finish the Jeanne d'Arc role play and gr.6 First Nation Treaties presentations on Monday.

Our class won the charity change challenge! Thank you for all your generous donations. We get a pizza party. Date to be determined.

Math:

The grade 6's continued to work from the texbook on comparing and ordering decimals. The 7's finished their work from last week (multiplying decimals). This week's math homework was pushed back to next week due to absences (students and teacher) and the grade 7 field trip.

English Language:

During last period, we exercised our oral communication skills and our 'thinking on our feet' skills with a spirited game of Taboo.

At the end of the day, we handed out progress reports. Please be sure to read over all of the comments with your son or daughter. Also, we would appreciate if you could return the envelopes for re-use. Thanks!
