Mrs. McCurdy was away at the GSA symposium today.

Math:

We continued to work on translating word problems into algebraic equations and then solving the equations when given values for particular variables. There will be a short algebra quiz for both 6's and 7's on Wednesday of next week.

English Language: 

The students read a short piece on fly-fishing and then responded to some comprehension questions. We took up our responses and discussed the makings of a level 4 responses.

The students continued to work on planning and scripting advertisements for their "Real Business Projects."

Homework:
1) Have a safe and and fun long weekend. Grade 6's: be rested and ready for EQAO next week!
