French language:
We watched and discussed the French news on TV5monde. Then gr6's completed language part A while the gr7's were with Mr. Balen working on assigned geography and La valise d'Hana.

Math:
Today's math lesson was on ratios. Students learned how to come up with "part-to-part" and "part-to-whole" ratios when comparing quantities in everyday situations. They then applied their learning to some questions from the textbook.

The students attended the Jump Rope for Heart kickoff assembly during the second half of the middle block.

English Language:
A few more groups demonstrated their product prototypes to the class. The other students asked questions and provided feedback. The remainder of the period was reserved for the students to work on their business plans, script their advertisements, and shoot their advertisements using the iPads.

At the end of the day, the persuasive essay assignments and the percentage quizzes were returned to students with grades and comments.
