French language:
The day started with relays around the school and then one last practice at the field events. Tomorrow is junior track and field. Students were reminded to dress in layers as it will be cool in the am, to pack lots of water, and wear sunscreen.

Mrs. James, a friend of mine, joined our class today to observe our French class. She used to teach French many years ago and is hoping to become a French supply teacher. We watched the news on TV5monde. Then we read Jean Baptiste and La Valise d'Hana in our guided reading groups.

After lunch, we watched the first episode of Extra French. This is a sitcom from France that is like the TV show, Friends. Then Mr. K wanted our class to join his class to practice some more for track and field.
