French language:
While gr7's finished reading and completeing questions in geography ch5, interaction, gr6's reviewed Japanese imports and exports, trade organizations, and child labour. Then we went to the gym to play badminton.

Also I am hoping that at least one gr6 parent can drive to the junior science fair on Wed., Apr., 13. If so, please fill out and return the volunteer driver permission form. I need to have this signed by the principal.

Math:
Some of the students needed to spend a bit of extra time finalizing their "Garden Architect" assignments. This was their last opportunity to make their project 'presentation ready.' The rest of the class worked on word problems involving spatial sense, and measurement skills.

English Language:
The students worked on a short reading comprehension assessment. We also reviewed a variety of strategies for success when doing multiple choice and for generating level 3 and 4 short responses. For the last period of the day, the students continued to work on drafting their persuasive essays in the lab.
