Geneva Hindle won a gold medal and wowed us all by also winning grand champion with her Canadian Nuclear Society award. Well done!
Yesterday, gr7's went to GBSS to watch 'Outside', presented by the Roseneath theatre. The play was about bullying and suicide. The gr6's had OPP kids, learned about Canadian tourism in social studies, and helped Mr. Balen's core French students. In science, gr6's solve electrical problems read about factors to test for water quality.
This morning, gr6's completed science quizzes while the gr7's completed an activity about water acidity. Then we walked to Meaford Hall to watch 'Racing to Zero'. The film was how San Francisco is creating full loop recycling for all their waste. We should think about some of these ideas for science fair next year...
