In geography, Gr7's finished their research on the St. Lawrence seaway, read ch3 on movement, responded to questions, and started their research on the Keystone pipeline. In the event of bus cancellations tomorrow, students can finish the Keystone pipeline research and enhance/prepare for science fair.
The gr6's read chapter 6 in Jean-Baptiste, coureur des bois, and responded to comprehension questions. In social studies, students researched imports and exports between Canada and the United States, Mexico, and European Union. In the event of bus cancellations tomorrow, students can work on their science fair projects.

Math:
Today the students had an extended math period to work on a real-life problem-solving scenario called "The Garden Architect Challenge." For this task, they needed to solve a number of spatial design challenges by applying their knowledge of triangles and quadrilaterals, and by determining the perimeter and area of said figures.
