This morning students did a dry run of of the Carnaval activities to work out any glitches.

Math:

The students watched an introductory video on algebra and then worked on some sample problems on the board.

During most of middle block, they attended a production of Romeo and Juliet that was put on by Mr. Elkins' grade 7 class.

English:

The students wrote the content quiz for chapter 8 of LOTF. Then they recapped and discussed the main developments of the chapter and updated their plot organizers. For writing, they had a lesson on developing an effective body paragraph for a persuasive essay (topic sentence, reasons/arguments, supporting details/evidence, and conclusion).

Homework:

Read chapter 9 of LOTF for Friday.
