French language:

Students worked independently on their Concours speeches and/or science fair projects. Since most students are almost finished/finished, we will not be spending any more class time working on Concours. Gr7's and gr6's present next Wed, Mar 2 and Thurs, Mar 3, respectively. Students do not need to memorize entire speech and can refer to cue cards:) Then we went to the gym and played on the 'planches a roulettes'.

Remember tomorrow is our last elective day:( Forecast looks fantastic though:)

Math:

The grade 7's worked on translating written scenarios into algebraic expressions (and vice versa) using numbers, operators and variables.

The grade 6's had a short lesson on dividing with decimals, and then they did some work from the textbook.

English Language:

The students wrote the content quiz for chapter 9 of LOTF. We then recapped and discussed important developments in plot, characters and theme.

The students worked on their persuasive essay graphic organizers for the remainder of the period.

Homework:

Read chapter 10 of LOTF for Friday, Feb 26
