French Language:
The students had a supply teacher this morning. They worked on their Science Projects as well as their Concours in the computer lab, silent read their guided reading books, and then they had a period of Phys. Ed (basketball, dodgeball).
English Language:
The students recapped and discussed the developments in plot, characters, and theme in chapter 4 of LOTF. They then started working on their Quickwrite topics for the chapter (Click here to view the Quickwrite topics for chapter 4).
Math:
We started math class off by exploring the advantages of the metric system over imperial standards of measurement. We then reviewed how to multiply whole numbers by 10, 100, 1000, 10000 and 0.1, 0.01, 0.001 by simply moving the decimal place. While the grade 6's worked on some independent practice, the grade 7's took up their quiz from last week on multiplying and dividing decimals.

- Finish "Quickwrite for chapter 4 of LOTF. (Due Friday)
