This morning we reviewed the following verbs: creer, acheter, aimer, envoyer, jeter, payer, ecouter, regarder, travailler. In history I worked with the grade 6's on First Nation treaties and the Metis resistance. Grade 7's worked independently to read about the American Revolution and the War of 1812. They will be joining Mr. Harding's class to participate in a debate between the Colonists and the Loyalists (T.B.A). In gym, we took advantage of the beautiful weather and went outside to play flag football and ultimate frisbee.

In math, we played with geoboards. We built triangles, turned them into rectangles and rhombus', and learned to calculate areas. We also built isosceles trapezoids in different shapes and challenged ourselves to calculate the areas. Some had difficulty with this so we will continue to work on it next week.
