Happy Friday!

French language:
Students learned how to paint the third landscape composition, golden mean, with water colours. This is where you divide the picture into thirds and there is one focal point. I also worked with gr6's to review geometry homework and assigned a review test for homework. Monday will be a geometry review day. Geometry test is Tuesday (see pages for gr6 & gr7 test outlines).

Math: 
We reviewed this week's math concepts and then the students got an early start on their fraction homework package. It is due Wednesday, Dec. 2nd.  

Language/Integrated Studies:
We read some more from The Giver and then the grade 6's faced off against the grade 7's in our month-end Jeopardy challenge (click here to see the game board). The grade 6's emerged victorious this time.

We finished the day off by helping out with our learning buddies down in 2/3 McNally. I am so proud of our students for being so patient and nurturing, and for setting such a positive example for this group of young learners.
