French language:

     We started the day in the computer lab. Gr6's continued to research the causes and effects of First Nations treaties. The gr7's continued translating roles for our upcoming debate between the Pacte de famille and Reformistes. In gym students practiced volleyball skills and played a game with a beach volleyball.

Math:

     We have started a new unit on fractions, and will continue on into December with decimals, and percents. Today, the students worked in groups on word problems involving equivalent fractions and adding fractions. Click here to view the word problems.

English Language:

     The students read the short story, "A Trip for Mrs. Taylor." They are to finish reading and complete the response questions for homework (due Thursday).
