French language:
Since half the class was away at area track and field and my report cards are due tomorrow, today was a 'complete all outstanding work' day. Gr6's finished sculptures, pop art, and 3D perspectives art and started to work on their suitcases for Jean Baptiste. Gr7's finished their geography assignments that were supposed to be finished during EQAO.

Science:
Gr7's learned about and completed two experiments on radiation, the final method of heat transfer. Instead of a test, I had them they design two homes, one in a hot climate and the other in a cold climate. They had to use their knowledge on conduction, convection, and radiation to ensure energy efficiency.

A big thank you to Geneva, Mya, and Alec for helping me clean out and pack up the science room while the gr7's were doing science:)
