French language:
The gr7 went off to the OEC. After drama, the gr6's learned about pop art and recreated Andy Warhol paintings. Students also finished their sculptures.

I sent home a permission for to watch a motivational speaker at GBSS tomorrow. My apologies for the last minute notification. I thought it was for intermediate students only.

Math:

We reviewed equivalent ratios from last week and did a sample problem on the board, as well some practice questions from the textbook. We then moved on to have a peek ahead at integers. The grade 6's are not expected to be able to do operations with integers yet, but they have been coming up a fair bit in other work. With the 7's away, I thought this would be a good opportunity for them to preview some of next year's math curriculum content.

In lieu of language, we did some DPA time outside for last period. We played a little bit of Ultimate Frisbee. The students deserved a little break after EQAO.
