French language:

Gr7's researched the causes, effects, and solutions of greenhouse gases. Gr6's researched various Canadian peace and humanitarian organisations. We played volleyball in gym.

Chris Fell, The Meaford Independent, took photos of our Concours participants and Science fair winners. I am hoping they will be in next weeks edition. Look out for those papers:)

I am still looking for permission forms for French Film Festival tomorrow (gr7's only) and Earth Day hike on Wednesday. No slip no trip:(

Math:

 To begin, we took some time to review and practice sketching 3-dimensional shapes in proper perspective. I have notice that this specific skill has needed attention in some of the students' work on measurement. The students then returned to their Apartment Architect challenge. I am hoping that we can wrap this task up on Wednesday.

English Language:

The students read and responded to a short poem entitled, "Husky Team." They practised crafting short answers which include evidence from the text (using quotations) and their own ideas.

Homework: 
1) Complete final short answer question from "Husky Team"
2) Complete 'book fair announcement' writing task
