I forgot to mention that we have a student from the high school pursuits program with us for the week. Her name is Emilie Barrette. She is francophone and has been very helpful, especially during history lessons. Today she worked with the gr7's as they learned about the great migration and life in lower and upper Canada during the years 1815-1838. The gr6's learned about the causes and effects of First Nation treaties. Then we attended the Cenotaph in Meaford.
